Vodafone says Huawei backdoor worries are misplaced
Both carriers deny the recent claims of poor security and cover-ups.

Vodafone Group says any implications it chose price over security when using Huawei gear in its Italian communications rollout a decade ago are inaccurate.
According to security briefing documents seen by Bloomberg reporters, as far back as 2009 Vodafone knew of hidden backdoors in Huawei
