In this episode of The NBR Podcast with Simon Shepherd: A 46-year-old man and his wealthy family and its business were granted permanent name suppression over his jailing for possessing 11,775 files of child sexual exploitation material. We examine the basis for that decision, track how it led to other well-known men being wrongly named on social media, and examine a possible flaw in a new law designed to give sexual violence victims more say over suppression.
