Tiwai Point owner to appeal $20m employment decision

New Zealand Aluminum Smelters, which owns the Tiwai Point smelter, will appeal a $20 million Employment Court ruling against it.
The Employment Court had earlier ruled NZAS was wrong to pay only eight hours for lieu days when its workers did 12-hour shifts. NZAS has done this since 1991.
