Kevin Malloy is stepping down as Vivaki Australia and New Zealand country chairman.
After 29 years with the company, Kevin Malloy is stepping down as Vivaki Australia and New Zealand country chairman.
The New Zealand-based ad man tells NBR he felt it was time to move on from the “big corporate job” and he wants to do more charity work. He has just been appointed to the board of disability sport foundation Halberg Foundation.
Mr Malloy says he also wants to do more consulting work.
He says one of his career highlights was the unbundling of media, where creative and media were separated because it was such a change to the traditional advertising business model.
However, he thinks this will change soon when one of the big four advertising companies reverts and puts creative and media back under one roof.
He confirmed Chris Nolan, chief executive of sister media agency Starcom Australia, will take his position.
Mr Malloy also held the position of Starcom global director, Coca-Cola and says this position will be handed over to US-based Robert Salomone.
