2degrees’ head of corporate communications, Bryony Hilless, is moving to a Telecom’s network partner, Alcatel-Lucent, where she will take up the role head of communications and brand.
Famously, or infamously, Alcatel-Lucent built Telecom's XT mobile network. The Franco-American company is also Telecom's long-time fixed network partner.
Ms Hilless (right), whom among other things was involved with 2degrees' successful social media strategy, takes up her new position on November 22.
Alcatel-Lucent’s incumbent head of communications and brand, Nick Brown, is heading to New Zealand Rugby where he will work as General Manager Public Affairs.
A replacement for Ms Hilless would appear to already be on-hand. Mat Bolland recently moved to 2degrees from TelstraClear.
