Bayleys real estate agency has been bragging that it found tenants for a lease rival firm CB Richard Ellis struggled with for a year.

In a press release, Bayleys said it secured legal firm Capital Chambers to AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund’s Novell building.

The 14 floor Wellington office tower is located on the Terrace and its other tenants include the Ministry of Transport and Kensington Swan.

“The prime top floor space - which in its former life was home to the boardrooms for Fletcher Challenge and Fay Richwhite – had, for over 12 months, been marketed for lease to no avail by CBRE who manage the property,” Bayleys said in its press release.

The building has been recently upgraded with new carpets, lighting and environmentally sustainable exterior glazing and air-conditioning.
