I have fond memories of 1987 and still have share certificates in enterprises such as Landmark Property, Pacer Pacific, et al. I never went for blue chip names such as Equiticorp or Judgecorp. It was a regular occurrence to line up to use the staff telephone with other 7th formers at morning break
