Act's creative director signs off with another controversial one-liner.
Former Act creative director John Ansell unleashed another controversial one-liner this morning.
Mr Ansell, who resigned yesterday over the working of a newspaper advertisement on Maori issues, was asked by Radio New Zealand this morning for his opinion on prime minister John Key.
The creative guru stood by his former comments that Mr Key was "lilly livered and massively incompenent" as an economic manager.
Mr Ansell added, "He [Mr Key] is sainted because of his good fortune regarding the Christchurch earthquake. Sorry, Christchurch, but that has been massively good luck for John Key. He was wrecking the economy before the earthquakes."
"Key has been governing for the Green Party on the ETS, the Maori Party on giving away the coast, the New Zealand First Party on refusing to put up [the age of] superannuation - everyone but the National Party. Only the Act Party actually stands for the policies of National."
Asked how many Act members supported the kind of language he used about the Prime Minister, Mr Ansell replied, "According to my inbox, quite a few."
