APN Outdoor has completed its acquisition of Oggi Billboards’ assets and has begun rebadging the sites.
APN Outdoor announced its acquisition of Oggi’s outdoor advertising assets – 100 panels across New Zealand – in March.
Two 12 x 3 billboards on Auckland’s Victoria Park flyover are the first to switch over to the new APN branding.
Another 27 will switch this week, with the remainder being rebadged on June 1.
The Oggi billboards add to APN Outdoor’s existing 540 sites.
APN Outdoor general manager Phil Clemas said the company’s focus is about increasing the spread and quality of sites it can offer from one place and through one contact.
“We’ve effectively minimised the clients’ fragmented approach to buying billboard advertising, which in turn will improve the value they get from booking multiple sites through us.
“The entire process will be far more streamlined and cohesive and clients have already noted these benefits during the transition period.
“We’re really pleased to be able to deliver this to our media agency partners and advertisers and look forward to bringing even more value to their outdoor campaigns in the future – be it through new properties or innovation.”
