Aussie opposition wants to axe Crown fibre; Labour’s thinking here

Yesterday, the Australian opposition coalition said that if it wins the August 21 federal election, it will scale back Labor’s $A43 billion National Broadband Network (NBN) to a $A6.35 billion plan.
The coalition would still aim to bring faster broadband to 97% of the country by 2016 but with a
