US private equity firm buys Grant Thornton Australia
The deal will see the Australian firm link with Grant Thornton franchises in the US and Europe.

The 200 Australian partners at accounting firm Grant Thornton Australia could each reap a reported windfall of A$4 million ($4.9m) from the sale of the Australian business to the private equity fund which has a majority stake in Grant Thornton’s US parent and some European franchises.
