Another man on a billboard wants you to Tweet at him
An outfit called Set and Forget Marketing have hung a man from a billboard in Auckland’s CBD (see right).
If you pop down to 20 Victoria Street West today, you should be able to catch him hanging around.
What’s going on?
Smells a bit like Big Communications' tomato work for Stuff.co.nz a while back.
The marketing company wants to mark the onset of the new Auckland Council.
They say they’re kick-starting the day with a bang and are attempting to put the fun back into business (who knew it was gone, eh?) with a stunt.
That’s where the billboard man comes in.
“Don’t leave your customers hanging” is the idea.
CEO Ryan Saville reckons a plethora of businesses are getting involves, such as OGGI, OmniGraphics, Platinum Projects, Adage Business and more.
The event is streaming live on www.setandforgetmarketing.com.
It’s also on Facebook and Twitter.
Summer time with the PAMS blokes
Barnes, Catmur & Friends has just launched a new TVC for PAMS in time for summer.
In this installment, our two beloved PAMS guys spend some quality bach time getting into the summer spirit.
“Drawing heavily on experience the PAMS guys go out fishing and return with an empty chilly bin,” BC&F account executive Nick Gallagher said.
“Luckily PAMS comes to the rescue with its vast range of goodies. There is rich detail in every shot with cabbage trees, pohutakawas, jumping snapper, a juggling dog, an aptly named boat and the exploding chook.”
Jonny Kofoed & co at Assembly did the animation and Two Birds produced it.
BC&F’s Paul Catmur and Carlos Savage are the writers-at-large.
Check out rival supermarket-ish advertising with 99’s latest TVC for New World.
If the building was burning, would you save PAMS or New World first?
Is an exploding chook really necessary?
Did someone take the billboard guy a sandwich for lunch?
