Big dairy cow shipment to China not approved yet

More than 5000 cows awaiting live shipment will have come from "hundreds of local farms."

Several hundred farms across New Zealand will have supplied dairy cows for a planned live shipment to China, NBR understands.

But there is still plenty of red tape to cut before the 5300 Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle embark on the voyage, which has been criticised by Labour and NZ First
