‘Great New Zealander’ Tony Gibbs dies

Business leader Tony Gibbs, former director of Guinness Peat Group, has died at his home in Matakana after a period of ill-health.

He was 72.

His friend and fellow former Tower director Rob Flannagan described him as “a great New Zealander” and “a genuine human being”.
