High Court rejects regulator’s CBL case
Top judge says administrators don’t need to follow continuous disclosure rules.
The chief high court judge has rejected a Financial Markets Authority case prompted by the administration of CBL Corporation.
Justice Geoffrey Venning has ruled against the regulator, and decided an issuer’s continuous disclosure obligations do not apply during administration.
