Regulator slaps BNZ over capital errors
RBNZ orders ‘prudent’ capital increase in case bank finds further mistakes.

The Reserve Bank has ordered BNZ to increase its operational risk capital by $250 million after mistakes were identified in its capital reporting over several years.
The regulator said BNZ had been reviewing its capital calculations and discovered its regulatory capital had been wrongly reported
