Seaglider milestone marked in Florida, working to secure $700m

Ocean Flyer celebrates maiden flight as CEO says investment announcement could be made within months.

$700m deal would see 25 seagliders enter New Zealand.

A key milestone has been achieved for the company looking to bring electric seagliders to coastal New Zealand communities.

Ocean Flyer was started by Shah Aslam, who also owns regional airline Air Napier and small venture capital firm SO Capital.
