TV advertising: ‘The gig is up’
TVNZ slashes programming and staff; marketing expert says television advertising is no longer a viable revenue gatherer.
The days of clever watchable TV advertising have largely gone.
TVNZ has this morning said it will drop 68 roles from the company in a widely expected slash-and-burn exercise to stay afloat as advertising revenues continue to plummet.
It is understood some of the roles and programmes affected will be Breakfast and Seven Sharp , while the broadcaster will slash
