Xero hits 2m subscribers after 30% growth

The ASX-listed company also turned around its losses to move into profitability.

Accounting software business Xero’s subscriber base grew 30% to two million in the six months to September 30 –and made a small first-half profit.

The ASX-listed, Wellington-based company posted a 2020 first-half profit of $1.3 million, up considerably from a $28m loss in the 2019
