Alan James survived re-election as chairman of Cavalier Corp [NZX: CAV] by virtue of proxy votes but shareholders attending yesterday’s annual meeting were left unimpressed and, in one case, “disgusted,” by proceedings.

The most scathing feedback from the floor was reserved for Mr James’ comments
