Chinese utilities giant State Grid Corp is eyeing a 42% stake in New Zealand gas distributor Powerco, worth more than $450 million, The Wall St Journal is reporting.
Powerco chairman Rick Bettle told NBR ONLINE he was not able to comment on State Grid's reported move.
