Clemenger BBDO wins NZ Post


Wellington agency grabs the spoils.

Clemenger BBDO has won the NZ Post ad account, which went up for pitch at the end of last year.

Incumbent Saatchi & Saatchi declined to pitch.

The work is worth around $6 million annually, according to information recently obtained by NBR under the Official Information Act.

NZ Post group corporate affairs manager Dean Schmidt: “New Zealand has a wealth of creative talent and the decision was not an easy one. Following a robust process that exposed New Zealand Post to some of the best thinking New Zealand has, Clemenger BBDO was seen as best positioned to assist us as we undertake substantial change to realign our business for the future. We are looking forward to working with [managing director] Andrew Holt and his team."
