SFS Private Wealth is pleased to welcome Tauehe Jefferies to the whānau as director, Māori. In this role, Jefferies will lead SFS's newly established Māori division, providing bespoke wealth management and financial advisory services to iwi and Māori commercial entities, with a focus on intergenerational wealth creation and preservation.
Jefferies brings trusted relationships and deep experience working in genuine partnership with iwi, Māori commercial entities, and private capital partners. His work has supported Māori organisations in deepening their participation in international markets and contributed a Māori lens to government conversations around economic development and investment.
Most recently, he served as head of Māori at InvestNZ and brings a broad background across corporate and commercial banking and the private investment sector.
SFS Private Wealth chief executive Jason Lewthwaite said Jefferies joins SFS at a pivotal and exciting time in its growth trajectory. "He brings deep relationships and specialist expertise, having worked closely with iwi and Māori organisations, and shares our commitment to delivering highly tailored advice and client centric service.
"His appointment strengthens our ability to serve Māori clients by thoughtfully connecting them with institutional private capital and opening pathways to investment opportunities that honour both their ambitions and their responsibilities to future generations. We look forward to growing these relationships together."
