Private Bin wonders why the Crafar family has not been snapped up by a local television production company for a down-at-heel version of The Osbourne’s or an unglamorous Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Given the local success of high brow realty television like Wife Swap and Wife Swap UK, there must be a production house out there with the wherewithal to get NZ’s most interesting family on mainstream television.
At a pinch (or for typecasting) there’s always the Country Channel.
Given former TVNZ supremo Bill Ralston’s involvement with May Wang and characters like Michael ‘JR’ Stiassny who make this seem more Dallas than down on the farm, Private Bin believes it will be a sure fire winner.
Budding producers and movie moguls can discuss this direct with NZ on Air on 04 382 9524.
Just don’t forget Private Bin in the credits…
