Craigs captures NZX's top performers of the year in 'SEX GASP'
Winner revealed in acronym competition.
Winner revealed in acronym competition.
The results are in from a Craigs Investment Partners' competition to capture the best-performing stocks of the year in a single acronym.
The broker was looking for a successor to "PAX" (Pushpay +206%, A2 Milk +273%, Xero 62%, Synlait +120%) that also took in Gentrack (+89%), Eroad (+101%) and Serko (+520%).
"We received many innovative suggestions but 'SEX GASP' was the favourite for characterising this year’s NZX superstars," Craigs says.
At the very least it's memorable, in a fourth-form humour kind of a way, and it certainly beats the runners-up: SEX GAPS, SAXPEGS, GASSPEX and GEXPASS.
