Failed lender South Canterbury Finance still has up to $22 million invested in a private equity fund managed by Pyne Gould Corporation subsidiary Torchlight Investment Group.

The finance company in December 2009 invested $22 million of government guaranteed funds into Torchlight Fund No.1
