Cunliffe jumps in preferred PM stakes
New poll has Labour up, Greens down.

New Labour leader David Cunliffe has jumped 10% to 12% in the preferred prime minister stakes, according to a new One News-Colmar Brunton poll.
Labour is up one point to 34% and the Greens down 2% to 12% - hinting at a rebalancing of power on the left (with the result within the margin of error, more polls will be need to confirm the trend).
However, Mr Cunliffe's moving his party to a "war footing" has yet to impact the government.
The poll has National up one point to 47%.
And John Key (up 1% to 42%) is still far ahead in the preferred PM ratings.
NZ First was steady on 4%; the Maori and Conservative parties registered 1%; ACT was not on the radar.
The poll would translate to National 59 seats for National, meaning it would have to rely on ACT and United Future holding single seats to gain a 61 majority - or, should one of them fail, the Maori Party holding at least one of its three seats.
The OneNews-Colmar Brunton poll surveyed 1000 eligible voters between September 14 and 18.
