Fri, 11 Dec 2015

DDB has appointed Brad Collett as Retail Creative Director in a bid to continue to hire leading talent and offer world-class creative experience to ultimately help drive sales and business growth for clients.

Brad joins a 30-strong creative department and is fronting the commercial success of innovative creative for DDBs retail client portfolio, including The Warehouse Limited, BMW/Mini and Auckland City Council.

Following a long stint at Saatchi & Saatchi NZ, Brad returns to DDB where he began his career 11 years ago as an Art Director.

Throughout his time working in advertising, Brad has been behind some of New Zealand’s biggest and most-loved campaigns for the likes of Spark, ASB, Tui and Toyota.

Brad says, “I’m thrilled to return to DDB where it all began for me. A lot has changed in our industry over the past decade and it’s an exciting, yet challenging, time for us as creatives, as well as for our clients. The pressure is on to innovate and create leading-creative campaigns that resonate with the audience, yet ultimately help our clients stay competitive and drive their bottom line.”

Shane Bradnick, DDB ECD, says, “Brad’s hands-on talent and passion for design, art-direction and his knack for great ideas, has helped produce work that customers and client love – and can sometimes even recite. He’s also picked up a bunch of creative and effectiveness awards along the way and we’re chuffed to have him back in the team.”

Brad joined DDB on the 1st December and is working across the entire retail portfolio.
