Deloitte has appointed a new leader of its New Zealand financial services practice.

Michael Tang, who will move to Auckland for his new role, was previously a partner with Deloitte in Toronto, Canada, where he began his career with the firm in 1997.

“The financial services industry has undergone significant change in the past couple of years, globally and here in New Zealand, and it is critical to take advantage of trends and technologies to transform organisations and improve productivity.”

Mr Tang offers particular expertise in the areas of cost reduction initiatives, outsourcing advisory services, target operating models, business and IT alignment, and talent acquisition, growth and development.
