DraftFCB came out on top at last night’s RSVP and Nexus Awards with 10 top gongs and 19 awards in total.

The agency pulled off a feat that’s never been seen before in the 23-year history of the awards: it took out both the RSVP grand prix and the Nexus supreme award.

FCB also took out three RSVP golds, two Nexus golds and three of the eight RSVP Craft categories – all for their work on The Journal for the Ministry of Health.

The Journal was initiated by FCB several years ago to help New Zealanders cope with depression.

It has set a benchmark for social marketing, particularly in the online space.

Marketing Association chief executive Sue McCarty said DraftFCB showed strategic vision, innovation, customer engagement and retention.

“Every element a winner in its own right. What an outstanding achievement!”

Other agencies that came up trumps with gold awards were Affinity ID, justONE, bcg2, Republik and Colenso BBDO.

BMW, Air New Zealand and Vodafone were brands that had a good showing across the awards tally, a full list of which is available online at www.responseiseverything.co.nz.
