It's Friday afternoon, so we'll try to restrict this story to a photo caption. To wit: ABOVE - 2degrees staff, including founder Tex Edwards (real name: Mr Edwards) celebrate winning CommsDay's Mobile Carrier of the Year award earlier this week. The company appears to have won some kind of perspex protractor for its efforts.
Unfortunately NBR left the CommsDay Summit before the Aussie rag announced why it had bestowed the gong, but we're assuming it was for Best Comments After A Story.
The telco also managed to secure 206,000 customers, or about 4.5% of the market, in its first 180 days.
Tex, incidentally, is the one with the big ears.
