Smart energy could save $3b, why aren’t we doing it?

EECA says energy savings of $1.5b for each gigawatt of peak demand reduction could be realised by taking up energy management systems ‘at scale’.

Schneider has rolled out an industrially focused fast EV charger.

It’s called demand-side flexibility, and it refers to shifting energy loads away from peak demand periods.

A recent report by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) thinks DSF could reduce demand by between 1700 and 1900 megawatts.
