Financers lose $10 million on Blackmore’s James Smith building

Troubled Wellington developer David Blackmore’s James Smith building was nearly 200% leveraged and even the first mortgagor faces a shortfall.

Deloitte’s Barry Jordan and David Vance were appointed receivers by ANZ National Bank of the developers' Blackmore Trust  on August 4.
