A Fletcher Building subsidiary has been selected to manage the Earthquake Commission's Canterbury earthquake project management office.
The Fletcher Construction Co appointment followed a tender process. The company would act as the commission's agent to deliver the rebuilding programme after the early September quake, Fletcher Building said today.
The Fletcher Construction team will meet the commission's team in Christchurch today for an initial briefing. Work on establishing systems and setting priorities will start on Monday.
