Fonterra’s Beingmate investment blows out by $85m
Currency movements have blown out the cost of Fonterra's global partnership with Beingmate to $700 million, rather than the $615 million first announced.
Fonterra [NZX: FCG] has confirmed its net investment in a global partnership with Chinese firm Beingmate is now likely to be about $700 million, rather than the $615 million originally announced last August.
The increase is due to currency movements, as revealed by NBR ONLINE yesterday.
