Fonterra's forecast dairy payout next season adds $594m to GDP
Dairy NZ warns farmers to repay debt accumulated during last three seasons rather than going on a spending spree.

National GDP will increase by an estimated $594 million due to Fonterra’s forecast farmgate milk price rising to $6.50 per kilogram of milk solids for the 2017/2018 seasons, Dairy NZ estimates.
