For iPad 2 delivery obsessives only: a 7-day miracle in Canada
Seven days. Nice.
I did warn you.
At right is the UPS trail for an iPad 2 ordered by our managing editor's brother-in-law from Burlington, near Toronto, Canada.
The tablet was ordered on March 22 via www.apple.ca - but has been on a weird and wonderful journey since, from China to Alaska to America's deep south.
Today it's in Hamilton - just 20 minutes from its orderer's home - so presumably it's only hours from arrival.
The brother-in-law expressed bemusement at the circular path followed by his iPad 2.
Me, I'm impressed by the seven days from order to delivery - not bad compared to the three to four weeks promised in these parts.
