Former Helicopters NZ posts loss amid break up and sale

HNZ was sold to two overseas buyers in a deal worth $260m.

Nelson-based helicopter company HNZ New Zealand recorded a net loss of $4.4 million last year before its parent was split up and sold in a deal worth about $260m.

The company, originally owned by the late Alan Hubbard, was owned by Toronto-listed Canadian Helicopters which bought the business
