Air New Zealand clarifies it will give full-fare refunds.
Up to 5000 passengers disrupted by Air New Zealand grounding its ATR fleet can get full fare refunds, the company has confirmed.
Airline communications manager Marie Hosking this morning clarified ambiguous reports on the airline's website.
The company's website says: “For passengers whose travel arrangements have been disrupted, we are offering free of cost changes for their itineraries up to 11.59pm Friday 23 March. Passengers also have the option of holding their tickets in credit.”
The website does not mention refunds but Ms Hosking confirmed full refunds would be given on request.
The ATR fleet was grounded yesterday when routine checks at Christchurch found fractures in the cockpit area of one aircraft.
