Fund manager John Phipps is calling for the Hellaby Holdings directors to reconsider their position as takeover bidder Bapcor closes in on a majority stake.

Shareholders accepting Bapcor’s $3.60 a share offer have so far pushed it to a 46% holding and the ASX-listed company says it is confident
