Game industry revenue up 13% despite loss of 93 jobs

The abrupt exit of Gameloft New Zealand has resulted in the net loss of 93 jobs in this country’s game development industry but total revenue rose 13% in the past year anyway.

There are now 475 people employed in the industry, down from last year’s 568, according to a survey of the New Zealand
