Government and industry agree to phased eradication of mycoplasma bovis

The government and farming leaders have agreed to spend $886 million over 10 years trying to eradicate the cow disease mycoplasma bovis.

The government will pick up 68% of the cost and industry the other 32%.

Under the plan 126,000 cattle will be killed and it could involve as many as 190
