GST shock for Trade Me traders

Auction website Trade Me has denied hiking fees on its Pay Now online payment facility after incorrectly collecting GST from it.

Trade Me recently emailed members advising Inland Revenue has confirmed Pay Now is a financial service and is exempt from GST.
