Egypt’s capital Cairo has been rocked by violence as supporters of under-fire President Hosni Mubarak fought anti-government protesters in the streets.
President Mubarak has promised to step down in September after an election is held but his opponents are demanding he resign immediately.
Despite calls by the government to pull out of Tahrir Square, protestors have refused to leave until President Mubarak steps down.
Yesterday supporters of President Mubarak met in the streets, throwing missiles and fighting.
