Internet Party leader Laila Harre is bouncing back, displaying a sense of humour and some business-savvy by using her Twitter account, still festooned with Internet Party livery, to promote her Italian restaurant.
Like the party's founder, Harre has been relatively quiet on social media since September 20.
But while Dotcom has been a bit of a sad-sack, Harre is showing some get-up-and-so.
This morning she tweeted:
New day job leafleting for O Sarracino. Show this tweet for free dessert with meal tues/weds. pic.twitter.com/dt0N16TGpY

And she sportingly re-tweeted:
New theory: the Internet Party was a long con designed to raise the profile of an Italian restaurant.

O'Sarracino is the Italian restaurant bankrolled by Harre and her husband. With the couple also owning a couple of vineyards, there are good synergies.
While NBR took a dim view of Dotcom using the Internet Party's "Moment of Truth" event to push Mega, this seems like a pragmatic attempt to take advantage of Ms Harre's social media profile.
Somebody might as well get something out of the Internet Party.
