ComCom raises issues with Contact-Manawa deal
Competition watchdog not currently satisfied the $1.86 billion acquisition would not substantially lessen competition.
The Commerce Commission is not yet satisfied Contact Energy's purchase of hydro generator Manawa would not have, or would not be likely to have, the effect of substantially lessening competition in New Zealand.
