Freightways’ A$160m purchase of Australian freight provider Allied Express will boost its growth across the ditch.
The acquisition would be funded issuing A$100m worth of Freightways’ shares to the shareholders of Allied – the McDowell family – as well as A$60m in cash drawn from debt
