‘Significant’ profit and revenue slump at Mainfreight

Listed transport heavyweight Mainfreight has reported a sharp decline in profit and revenue, as the company returns to more “normalised” trading activity.

Net profit in the six months ended September 30 fell 43% to $124.5 million, while revenue dropped about 22% to $2.36 billion.
