Revenue, ebit, post-tax profit take a dive as inflation and interest rates soar, company says.

High inflation, high interest rates and a New Zealand election are being blamed for a drop in revenue and profit across Vulcan Steel in the half year.

Revenue in New Zealand was down 18.3% in the half year to December 31, while in Australia, the drop was 7.6%, for an overall drop of some 12% to $564
