Now comes a new study from OKTrends - which says it samples the opinions of 11.4 million users - by dint of being the statistical branch of OKCupid, which claims to be the world's biggest dating site.
The survey finds that Apple iPhone users have the highest average number of sexual partners at age 30, followed by RIM BlackBerry owners. The Google Android crowd comes in third. A similar pattern is correlated across all age groups.
Disturbingly, female iPhone owners have more partners than male owners - suggesting some platform-hopping takes place.
As in seemingly all smartphone surveys these days, Nokia is not even listed.
